hernia and testical pain

hernia and testical pain

I have a diagnosed ingiunal hernia ( right side )
awaiting an op in november this year.
the hernia i have had for two years with pain on and off, more so when it first happened.

Last week i went horse riding and galloped very aggresivlly.
This was the first time that i have galloped on a horse and about the third time i had ridden one.
Since then i have had a severe pain in my right testicle and lower right stomach area.

my right testicle has always been different in shape to the left.
i can feel a soft lump below the right one.It feels as if it is not directly attached to the testicle though??

When i lift heavy objects the pain gets worse in the right testicle.

I am worried that i have testical cancer, or have i aggrivated something to do with my hernia???

trying  to get a doctors appointment will take days and i would like a medical opinion asap.

many thanks
ron

Difficult to say without examination.

Imaging the scrotum with an ultrasound can evaluate for testicular cancer.

Aggravating the hernia is also possible.  If it cannot be reduced (i.e. "put back"), this is a surgical emergency and needs to be evaluated by a physician.

I would discuss these options with your personal physician.  If the pain continues or worsens, going to the ER would be recommended.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

Hi, I am not a doctor , But i had a close friend that testicular cancer he said that it had swelled to about 2times normal size. I would expect that this could be a fluid filled cyst and not cancerous. because you said that it didnt feel like it was attached.
