h.pylori follow up

Thank you for commenting on my question. I wanted to to clarify that I had dry mouth and dry, flaky skin BEFORE I started taking prevpac. I got it about 9 months ago. So my question is - could the dry mouth and dry, flaky skin be a result of h.pylori infection???

Lastly, what did the stool tests "giardia antigen" and "ova & parasites & stained slide" test for? Would those tests show if I had candida overgrowth?

My Doctor told me that we'll do endoscopy if we do not know what the problem is based on the other tests that we've done or if the problem persists.

I am not aware of the skin symptoms and dry mouth being commonly associated with H Pylori.  

Giardia, ova and parasites, tests for parasite that can lead to GI symptoms.  Giardia is a specific type of parasite.  They would not show candida overgrowth.  

I agree that an endoscopy is the next step.
