lap nissen re wrap and I need a great doctor in Los Angeles

I had the lap nissen done in 1999 for severe heartburn. It worked for about 3 years( i never really felt that i was 100% free of reflux after the surgery but i was 70% better) I make my living as a singer and about 4 years ago my reflux has come back to the point I cannot sing anymore without damaging my vocal chords due to the swelling the acid creates. I take handfulls of prevacid prilosec liquid and solid antacids when Iam on the road touring but they seem like they dont help much anymore. I live in Los Angeles CA. and I am looking for a great doctor that has experiance with re wraps.Can anyone please help. I need to stop this acid burning my vocal chords before I make irreversable damage. I need a great doctor. Please help! Thank You. Zoli

I am not familiar with the physicians in southern California, and cannot make any specific recommendations.  

If the GERD still continues - and can be verified by a 24-hr pH study - a re-do surgery or revision can be considered.  

Maximizing medical therapy with combination PPI and H2-blocker therapy can also be considered as well.

Demeester is great. So is Wilfred Weinstein at UCLA. Either one can oversee the fix.
