Hi, frist before i start asking my questions here is a little about my health history. I'am 38 female
with Congestive Cardiomyopathy, ( L ) Sided Heart Failure, EF 40 - 45 %.,Moderate - Severe Mitral Valve Regurg., CFS, Major Depression, Anxiety, EBV,ChronicWBC, Hemorrigastris. History of Polyps Age 14 (GRANDMOTHER DIED 52 W/COLON CANCER). Polyps removed in 2004 everything ok. Started having problems in Dec 06, worse Mar 07, diarrhea,vomiting,severe stomach pain, weightloss. Quest#1.-----8/07/Biopsy Polyp,15cm hyperplastic gland changes, explain please Question#2.   Polyp,Biosy,Cecal:Moderate Villotubular Gland Atypia (HOT SPOT),explain please   Question#3. What is C-Diff?? I How do get it, do i need to worry about my kids???
taking Flagyl but still having severe stomach pain!!!! and nothing for pain. dont get me wrong  i have GREAT FAMILY DR'S-  Well be seeing GI SEPC ASAP any information from anyone please.....So many problems and so tried and just wont to work and take care of husband and kids. i know you can understand!!!!!!!! thank you

To answer your questions:
1) A hyperplastic polyp are the most common type of polyp and rarely exhibits progression to cancer.   Was the polyp really 15cm? or 1.5cm?  The treatment would depend on how big the polyp was.  It can range from removal to routine surveillence.

2) This is a more malignant polyp.  Depending on the size, it may require surgery for removal or more intense colonoscopic follow-up.

3) C-Diff is a bacteria associated with antibiotics that can lead to diarrhea.  Handwashing is a must as it is transmissible.  

Treatment would include Flagyl.  Oral Vancomycin is also an option.

I agree with seeing a GI physician to discuss the findings.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
