pro's con's on the operation (stapling stomach)

Over wieght,have emphysema, am a diabetic, am 63 years old. Need to get this weight off as it is hard to walk, bend over, just general things.

My Uncle had his stomach stapled many years ago.  He said he would never have done it if he knew the pain involved.  
-I joined Weight Watchers and lost 55 lbs.  It is a great program and you have to exercise,  Start out but walking around the block and then go further every few days.  You have to be motivated which is difficult.

They can now do stomach stapling through laproscope which cuts the pain way down
