really bad pain in the belly

  i have had sever belly acks so bad i cant move i had had the doctor look at me he gave me 5cc of donnatal elixir plus 20ml lidocaine visc plus maalox 30ml it did the trick do you know why it worked and what can it be i still get the pain and maaloxs isnt even helping the pain is to much some times i just dont know i do have a hemangiomas in the right lobe of the liver im not shore thats doing it or if it got bigger and thats causing my pain dont know thank you gene
