red blood in stool/worried

I am a 56 year old woman in good health. In the past have had ibs and occasional red blood bleeding in stool from hemmorroids. Recently I have had some red blook on the stool and on toilet paper. The stool is firm on not dark. I plan to go to a doctor, but am worried.

I am so scared..i'm 20 years old, and ever since iv'e had my son in april (of last year) i have had bright red blood in my stool, i even have the blood on my toilet paper when i wipe. I'm so scared of cancer or something serious being wrong with me. I hope anyone out there can give me some advice....worried..nikki

i am 21 years old and have found blood in my stool. i'm scared to go to the doctor, i think that i am too young to have colon problems.
