small pain in lower left of back( inside)

i was wondering if any one has had this type of pain
a low level pain in the lower left side of the back,
i think it is the colon, i had pain there last january when i was bending over at work. then it went away and now it is back agian, it feels like an intestine ,  now i am feeling the pain just laying down with out working or bending .i will be going to the doctor soon to get it checked out,
i am 42 and have had a history of taking pain medication,
vicidin and ultram.

When i get pain in my lower back it is usually my kidneys.
I am very sensitive to the cold on my feet or on my butt and when
i walk on something cold or sit on something cold ...I usually get a slight kidney infection . Go to your doctor and get it checked out..mean while you might try drinking some unsweetened Cranberry Juice, it's good for flushing out the bad stuff in your bladder and in your kidneys. Just something that works for me :)

Don't forget to get checked out by your doctor because if it is kidney infection you could very well need anti biotics...especially if you experience any fever at all. A severe kidney infection can leave you flat on your back for at least 6 weeks....so do get it checked out. Just trying to help from my own experience...take care
