stomach aches

I have a 12 year old daughter that has had problems with bladder infections.  the last couple of times i've taken her to the doctor they have been negitive, but she has been full of stool.  She's been of softener and she is still complaining of after she goes to the bathroom how bad it burns.  She has been in the hospital with different test done.  It has efected her life phisically.  She dosn't feel good most of the time so she misses out on a lot of stuff.  this has been going on for 3yrs and not getting better.  Do you have any idea's what could be wrong?

Recurrent bladder infections should lead to an investigation of vesicoureteral (VU) reflux.  A voiding cystourethrogram can be discussed with a urologist.

Evaluation of the lower GI tract can be considered to evaluate the associated symptoms.   A colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy can be discussed if there is continuing constipation or irritation.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.
