stomach pain

Hi,
my seven year old son has been having some stomach pain near his navel. at times the pain is low grade and at others he says it feels like he is being stabbed with a knife.
About 3 weeks ago, he developed a severe case of strep throat and it went into his stomach as told to me by his doctor. My son took 10 days of antibiotic and he was fine after that. He now started with the same symptoms as before, I took him to his doctor and he said he didnt have strep. He thinks my son is just constipated. I believe my son has been having normal bowl movements. He hasn't run a fever at all and I had a cbc and sed rate done on him, they were both normal. Do you have any ideas on what this could be?
Thank you for your time.
