I do not know a doc but just want to have you rethink about  having that procedure done.  My mother had a stomach reduction operation  and we watched her lose weight while being sick all the time throwing up, in hospital 3 times for blockage in system and mesh repair.  Lost use of her kidneys and went on dialysis.  Finally had heart failure.  They were not quality years (3) that she lived after the operation by no means.  The doc painted this rosy picture for her.  Her children loved her just the way she was. God loved her also but she apparantly didn't love herself. She is taken care of as she became a christian. That is comforting to her family but we miss her.  Think of your family, and if you don't, learn to love yourself as God loves you and as a brother in humanity with you,  I  love you also, that is what it is all about. Just a compassionate person.

From what I hear this surgery is either highly successful, or highly unsuccessful with no in between.  The people who have unsuccessful surgeries have devestating side effects which usually cause death (as in the case above).  

I agree with the above poster-- think long and hard about this.  There is no quick fix for why most people eat, and a stomach stapling isn't going to fix those reasons.
