superior mesenteric artery syndrome

My daughter was recently diagnosed with mesenteric artery syndrome in that it has pinched her duodenum and has not allowed anything to pass from the stomach to the intestines. Since this syndrome is quite rare, we are trying to find a doctor or a medical facility that is familier with this condition. Please send any information to ***@****  Thank You

I am not aware of specific names that can help with SMA syndrome.

My recommendation would be to start with a GI physician at a major academic medical center, which has more experience in dealing with uncommon or rare cases.

Every major city has one, and is typically affiliated with a major medical school or university.
