i suffer heavy sweating sometimes in the day and night, some nights i am drenched in sweat

There are many, many causes of profuse sweating.

You should identify where you are sweating from, how old you are, and what medical conditions you have.

Sometimes, hyperhydrosis is caused by endocrine disorders, thyroid disorders, menopause, CNS disorders, use of anti-depressants, obesity, and a host of other problems.

Let your doctor know what's been happening and work towards finding a solution to the problem for which this excessive sweating is only a symptom!
