My test results say liver test recheck remains stable high. Exactly, what doe this tell me?

Without knowing the exact values, it is difficult to say for sure.  

Any type of liver disease can raise the liver enzymes.  Alcohol use is also a common possibility.  At minimum, a workup should consist of an abdominal ultrasound and blood tests looking for hepatitis.  

Monitoring the liver enzymes periodically should be done to ensure the liver enzymes aren't rising.
