37 days of vomiting

My son is 15, after severe bout of food pioson, which started it diarrhoea  and the day after the  vomitting started -he
now has been vomiting for 37 days now.He cannot keep water down but has better luck keeping down  small amount of food.
He now lost in excess of 10kgs
HAs spent 16 days in hospital having tests which are all clear. Sitting up straight  seems to aggravates the problem,if he sits on an incline it seems to work  better for him. Has caused his bowel to slow down to point of a blockage and has already had one complete wash out, that work for a day now we are back to the constipation  problem.
The Doctors have not done a colonoscopy. Thank you

I don't know  exactly. but they had done a ct skan on his head looking for a brian tumour.
Blood tests for infections- negative
Stool test -negative
X-ray showed a block up in his  bowel
No to the test you asked about. He was fine until he had nachos on Sunday afternoon
31st July.
He tells me that the moment he drinks water he gets the urge to vomit immediately.
HIs bowels are barely moving  he has only passed small amounts 4 times in 3 weeks
Only his Dad - who is an Vietnam vet and has an irritable bowel.
Thank you helping

Which specific tests were done? Has he had a gastric emptying test done? And has they also evaluated his bowel transit time? Do GI issues of any type run in your family?
