13.6 Mild enlarged spleen ct

I had a ct scan performed for ongoing abdominal pains. Iv been having gi issues of pain around the navel after meals and pain between ribs around stomach area that shoots to my back. I finally had a CT Scan w Iv contrast last month and it showed fatty liver, normal galblader normal everything except for 13.6 mild enlarged spleen, would this be the cause for my problems eating and stomach pains? Or is it secondary to my GI issues? Iv lost whieght round 17 pounds since. Also I still get lower and upper pains that spread between my upper back after meals. Does anyone have an enlarged spleen with same eating issues or is this just a mild case and should not have any symptoms? I'm still waiting on an answer from my doctor, did have Cbc that was normal two weeks ago. But did notice an slight bump in my biliruben 1.5 and rbcn .6. Other than that blood works normal.

I spoke with my doctor and he tells me the spleen can reach up 14 cm and be normal. Everything Iv read says my spleen is enlarged at 13.7cm. Do you feel any pain associated with your mildly enlarged spleen. Or any back pain in the left side. I'm not sure if my pain is kidney or spleen related.

I just responded to another post of yours. Didn't know you already had some blood work done.
An enlarged spleen is a symptom of something else. I was found to have a mildly enlarged spleen in early January. I've had loads of blood tests done and so far all of them have come back normal.
My appetite really hasn't been effected but since an enlarged spleen can be the result of any number of things, then whatever I have (still trying to determine that) may be different than what us causing yours. I also didn't have much weight loss- some, but my doctor said it wasn't enough to cause any concern especially since I've been trying to exercise and eat healthier

sounds like you just need to hear what your doctor wants you to do next.
Hope everything works out for you
