17year old with pain

Hello,
My daughter is 17 years old and has pain under her sternum and vomiting/nausea this has been going on for at least 2 yrs. She has had her gallbladder removed and lots of tests(2 upper GI scopes, colonoscopy, barium studies, ultrasounds, x-rays, pillcam, gastric emptying test, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some) Everything has come back negative except for the gastric emptying test, they put her on reglan for a short time but it didn't seem to help so they took her off of it. Could that be causing her pain? She is getting very defeated with most tests coming back negative and she's afraid she will have this pain for the rest of her life.

I don't know of any specific questions but I would make sure they take you guys seriously and don't just dismiss the test results and her symptoms.

I am also a 17 year old girl and have gastroparesis.  Yes the gastroparesis could be causing her vomiting and nausea.  For some people reglan doesn't help them.  I would go back to your GI doctor and ask to try something different for the gastroparesis.  There are other medications to try and other treatments.  If your doctor seems reluctant to try something else, I would find another GI doctor.  Good luck.
