My Fiance is 29 years old his pain in the left lower quadrant area began in march. He has had a negative colonoscopy, negative CT Scan, X-ray with contrast normalNormal saline flush, normalNormal saline flush blood work, normalNormal saline flush stool work up. However, at times I see his left lower abdomen area is swollenSwollen glands and has alternating bouts of diarrhea and constipation. He is losing weight and sleep due to the pain. At times he also feels nauseated and has not desire to eat anything! The Doctor has not started him on anything and we have had two visits to the ER with this pain. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated?
Has your fiance been tested for Crohn's? Crohn's is also a possibility with these symptoms. He could also just be suffering from a major bout of IBS.
I wish him the best and understand the pain and aggravation he's going through as I am also going through the process of trying to find out why I'm having my pains. I've also been negative with each and every test I've been giving.
Don't give up and push the doctors to keep looking for the cause!
