2nd Nissan Fundoplication

Hi,

I have GERD and had a Nissan Fundoplication back in '94.  Two years ago I began having significant problems.  I again have esophageal ulcers, barrets, and chronic gastritis.  They are considering re-doing the Nissan.  While the surgery was difficult and a long recovery it did solve my issues, I am unable to take proton pump inhibitors so this would be my only option to live pain free.  I have also been told that the ulcers are causing significant damage to my esophagus.

I was wondering if anyone else had had this surgery done twice and if so how successful was it?
