A little concerned

I'm 19 years old, and have always been very healthy.

For 3 days I've had light brown stools. They're soft, and I'm still going regularly in the morning and maybe once in the evening like I have my whole life.

I also feel a slight tightness in my upper abdomen, this also has a slight burning sensation, that lasts for about a second from time to time.

I have a cold right now, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I'm a "worry wart" when it comes to this stuff.

Thank you

I hope you're right. My appetite hasn't been good, and an ant-acid cleared up the burning.. I feel absolutely no pain though, which leads me to believe that I don't think it could be THAT serious. Hopefully not.

Our stool color varies in color from light brown to dark brown, depending on what we eat.

I wouldn't be concerned at all about this, but if the burning gets worse, then I would see your doctor regarding that.  Considering your age, I think you are fine.  It's good to be pro-active with your health, but don't worry so much that you get obcessive with it, this will just create more problems for you.  I wish you all the best and take care.
