A relationship between Gilbert's Syndrome and Macrocytosis (enlarged red blood cells)?

My doctor recently ran some organ function tests on me due to anxiety issues I've been having.  Everything came back fine except my bilirubin was "slightly elevated" (I was told that "high" would be 50 - 50 WHAT I don't know - that "normal" was 24 and my reading was 27) and that I had Gilbert's Syndrome.  I've read up on this online and, just as my doctor reassures me, this is a harmless condition typically causing no complications or symptoms.

Something else that showed up in the bloodwork, though, is that I have slightly enlarged red blood cells.  My doctor wasn't concerned about this since all my counts were within normal range, but I have a couple of questions:

1)  Is this something that can suddenly occur as a "normal" thing?
2)  Could this be related to the Gilbert's?

I'm a 30 year old female, in pretty decent health otherwise....

Thanks!
