AM i ok?

Hello , I am only 16 years of age and have been feeling quite strange lately.

Everyone tells me its due to Anxiety because im a massive worry wort about EVERYTHING.

But i was just wondering if the occasional abdominal pain was normal. And while suffering from anxiety the most i have no appetite and feel nausious ALOT. for the past 3 weeks i have not had an appetite like i used to . I have lost 8 pounds. And i had an ultrasound just to make sure my Gallbladder was ok. To check if i had gallstones.

Also i was wondering if very dark brown stool ( Almost looks black and on the toilet paper it is brown/black and is very sticky) is anything to worry about. Because today is the first day ive had it and im kind of freaked out. My father said to not worry about it though.
When i have alot of anxiety i also have very extreme indigestion that comes all the way to my throat causing alot of abdominal pain.
I have a fear of vomitting also and ive read things on this and it says alot of vomitting blood. That has me very very freaked out. I do not want to have to go through these things.

Should i be worried? Or am i causing myself to overreact about everything?

I am just wondering if Very Dark stool is normal just once and a while.

I've cut back on soda but I don't seem to be able to drink much of anything, really.  Milk bugs.  Water seems to dilute (drinking w/food equals mixing water and oil IMHO).  Coffee bugs.  I do think SOBE does me pretty well.

From what I've gathered since discovering these odd symptoms
1)  They are not life threatning.
2)  They are becoming life changing in a rather annoying way.

I'll try to cut out sodas altogether...Thanks.

Thanks, and do you drink a lot of soda? I noticed my stomach rarely gives me trouble anymore since I cut back to about 24 ounces of soda a week. I'm pretty sure that **** can't be good for your stomach.

Very nice reply, driver.

I've never had any problems like those posted here until very recently.  It's really been, uh, cramping my style.

Worst thing is I'm afraid to be alone with anyone in a quiet room because the last 6 months my stomach "growls" quite loudly.

I'm not going to go on but I'm just saying that none of this is any fun.  I really hope guitargirl, if reading this, takes sxt's reply to heart.

I played basket ball tonight and my team won every game.  It was WAY better than sitting at home listening to my stomach gurgle and wince (what the heck is this all about anyway...we all seem to be asking that...even the docs don't seem to know much.)

BTW, If I do get too tummy loud these days I just laugh it off and joke about how hungry I am!

I had the same problem you did at your age. It is more than likely anxiety. In fact I still have problems with it. When I get worried about something or extremely pissed off I lose my appetite and my stomach feels like **** all day. I've never lost 8 pounds though. How long did it take you to lose 8 pounds? That is important. I'd go see a doctor or do some research online to see if you can find some ways to work out your anxiety. Please try to avoid taking presription pills though, they will never cure you, and will always harm you in other ways. It's not something you want to get dependent on, trust me.

Sometimes you just gotta say "eff it"...don't let things get to you. There is too much to life to think negative about things. It's a pretty well known fact among psychiatrists that if you always think negative about everything, negative things will happen, and making you think even more negative, and so on. You dig yourself a hole of negativity that you can't get out of, and that's when people go nuts and violent. There's a positive to everything in life, no matter how aweful it may seem on the outside. You should find that one positive, even if it is small, and focus on that only. Find a forum or chat room online you can chat with other people with and vent your frustration. Go outside and get some sun on nice days, it's proven to put you in a better mood. Watch TV shows or do research on space, or nature. There's too much to life to hate it. If you hate one part of life you have a million other directions to choose from and a million other things to be positive about. You're not unique, we all experience anxiety and depression. Think of it as a good thing, if you can practice getting through all the anxiety and negative thoughts during the best and most care free years of your life, it makes you that much stronger, mentally. It may help you later in life where you have to overcome something so devastating if you never had anxiety issues before you might have just resorted to suicide, rather than having the mental toughness to get through it.

Good luck to you bro...

ps.
Don't drink as much soda, or eat as much fast food. Drink more water, juice, and fish. It will help make your stomach feel a little better in the long run.

You are not allowed to post on this site until you are 18. I think you should talk to your parents or your guardian about your health concerns and get them to take you to the doctor and check you out.

Are you seeing a doctor about your anxiety issues? I think that would be a good idea too.
