I have a history of abdominal adhesions due to multiple abdominal surgeries due to endometriosis, hysterectomyHysterectomy Hysterectomy - series, adhesion removal surgery and artificialArtificial tears disc replacement surgery. I go thru periods where I have moderate to severe pain associated with this but do not wish to have another surgery to create more scar tissue. It is a never ending cycle. :( However, this time with my pain I have brightBright beginningsgreenGreen tea stool. Does this have anything to do with it or is my pain possibly from something different? I have not changed my eating habbits, I have not eaten greenGreen tea leafy foods, no vitamins, etc. Same as any other day!
Nichole, for you abdominal adhesions, check into a modality called visceral manipulation. It's something that can help with adhesions and it could make you a LOT more comfortable.
BrightBright beginnings green stool is typically found with something like a diarrhea state. It means you're putting out more bile, and that substance is 'fast-forwarding' the contents of your large intestine forward. Bile is an intestinal irritant. In normal situations, the amount of bile that gets to the large intestine is rather small, since the majority is recycled at the end of the small intestine. That small amount helps to keep us regular. When too much hits the large intestine, most people get diarrhea.
Bile is put out in a yellow-green color. As it moves through the small and large intestine, it changes into the brown color we've come to associate with a normal bowel movement.
