and tends to get worse after I've eaten a meal. I just had my ovaries removed in July and had an abdominal CT Scan done then. Anyway, I went to my PCP regarding this pain and wants to do an U/S which is fine. I had mentioned that I had a CT back in July ordered by my gynecologist so I requested a copy of the records to be sent over to my PCP. MY CT report from July states that there is a round hypodensity on my pancreas and needs to be followed up. I was never told any of this and was wondering could this be the culprit? Any ideas?
I have taken antibiotics quite a bit over the last year due to a post op infection, and several sinus infections. I took Bactrin most recently and prior I've taken Levaquin, Biaxin xl, and Cipro. Any advice would be appreciated.
? could be a psuedocyst on the pancreas that is causing the pain. i had this same abdominal pain that also radiated to my back and this was very discomfortin. came to find out that i had chronic pancreatitis
and i have been treating this disease ever since then. i would ask my PCP or Gastro if this could be the culprit. let me know if it is (hopefully its not) and i can further share my treatment with you.
good luck!
