Accutane, Elevated AST?

Accutane, Elevated AST?

I have been on accutane for 3 months now. My tests have been consistently good until this month (My ALT levels are normal, triglycerides are at 80, and everything else is great). I have been prescribed 80 mg of accutane this past month (month 1- 20mg. month 2- 40mg. month 3- 80mg) and i have had very minor stomach gurgle noises after meals and was told not to worry about it. My last blood test showed an elevation of my AST from 42 last month, to 82 last week. I am 19, 155lbs and i am a very healthy eater, exercise and run 6 days a week. I was sick with possibly the flu or really bad allergies for a good 2 weeks. For the second week i took benadryl and 4 of those days i took 2 pills every 4 hours 6 times a day so i could go to school and work as well as naproxen sodium 2 times a day. (1) I understand that these 2 medications are processed through the liver and could have possibly been a cause to my elevated AST levels? And 3 days before my blood work, as i started to feel better, i ran every night and worked out for 4 hours one of those nights. (2) I also understand that strenuous workout could have also affected my AST levels? (3) i was wondering if i should be concerned about this or not? My doctor took me off accutane until i get blood work done again in a week and then resume treatment. I rather be on the safe side and deal with acne then liver damage and possibly contract a gastrointestinal disease. I appreciate your time to read this an answer.
