Acid Reflux

I have been diagnosed as having acid Reflux Which happened after i was pregnant with my daughter. i am 22 years old and because of the acid reflux it was also discovered that i have Gallstones. I will get small symptoms every so ofter, but about once a month i have an attack and each time i have one it gets worse and worse. To the point where i cant eat anything because it instantly comes back up. the pain starts in my back and moves its way up my chest. My stomach feels Raw and it feels like something is eating away at it. I take acid reducers daily.
I want to know what i can do daily to help the attacks not come back. The last one i went to the hospital it was so bad. They had to give me a shot of gravial because i couldnt keep a pill down. Will i have This Forever?

Yes you can have GERD without the acid reflux.I do.I get pressure at my sternum and below it.Sometimes I think somethings going wrong with my heart.I've been to the emergency room 4 times with anxiety attacks because i thought i was having a heart attack.I've also been nauseated at times. After taking Nexium ,prevacid, protonics ,zantac maalox etc etc I still had problems. So don't be confused about It you could have GERD.Stop eating the foods that could cause it for a week ( sugars.red gravies ,carbonated drinks, etc.and see how you feel.Get you some pepsid ac and take it 1 hour before meals.Good luck and I'll pray that you would feel better. Please do the same for me.(I'm not a doctor,I am a person who suffered an still suffering from this awful burden.GOD bless.
