Acid reflux left shoulder back pain and shortness of breath

Ok so recently my acid reflux has started acting up really bad again from when i was 12 or so and I had to take zantac pills for awhile. I recently have been having shortness of breath whenever i eat, regardless of what i eat. I have been eating very healthy since it started acting up (only fruits, veggies, nuts and meat) and yet still I get chest pains accompanied by shortness of breath.

Im not sure if it is related but recently there has been some muscle pain in my back around my left scapula and it feels like a bruise whenever i push on the affected area but there is no bruise. I took one tiny hit of medicinal marijuana to try to ease the pain and then my throat almost tightened a miniscule amount and the breathing problems arose once again.

Let it be known that I only recently got the marijuana to try to ease my acid reflux symptoms and this was the first medicating I have done.

If you're at the point that you're having trouble breathing accompanied by chest pains, it is important that you check with your doc. Chest pains could indicate the presence of esophageal spasms which are known to occur in reflux. They typically only can be handled with the use of specific prescription medication. At the stage when someone is having those types of spasms, just a change in diet alone is not going to be the best way to try to bring things into line. It may require the use of proton pump inhibitor medication. Please call your doctor and make an appointment to be seen as soon as you can.

I have acid reflux/gerd I get shortness of breathe to. The doctor said acid goes into your lungs and creates a asthma like attack. For me anything high in acid will mess me up. Also I dont get heart burn I get heart attack feeling chest back arm ect. And lol if I smoked weed id probably die! I did it once years ago and couldnt breathe I freaked out so bad..
