Acute Stomach Pain

This is for my wife; for about 1 week now, my wife has had acute stomach pain. I took her to the emergency last Sunday and everything checked out ok. She has frontal pain just above her stomach with burning sensations. She also has diarrhea, gaseous feeling and she is burping a lot. Doctors ruled out food poisoning, but I haven't. It all began after a family get together. Please help!

Get your wife into see a GI doctor, to be evaluated for her symptoms.  Food poisoning only lasts 24-48 hours, so if she did have food poisoning, it is now out of her system.  It's may just be coincidental that her symptoms appeared after the family got together.  But it is definitely not food poisoning.  If you feel the need, return to the same ER and when they see she has had these systoms for a week now, they will perform further testing.
