After H Pylori treatment, stomach still bloated. Help?

I first have constipation problem in late July 2007. I was given duralax laxative by a doctors on my first consultation but about 3 days later, I ended up in emergency hospital because I was severely constipated. X-ray shows faeces all clogged up in my body. I was given Agaral milkshake and was relieved.

About 3 weeks has passed and in August, I still find some difficulty in passing faeces. The texture of the faeces are soft and sluge like substance. Numerous blood test was taken and doctor said I have H Pylori infection 1.5 weeks ago. I was given 1 week of triple anti-biotic treatment.

During the 1 week treatment, I noticed the faeces texture changed back to more normal looking texture. I didn't noticed I have a bloated stomach for the first 3 days of treatment. Then overnight on the 3rd day, my stomach started to bloat and woken me up in my sleep, accompanied by occassional bubbly feeling in the stomach and flatulance. After treatment 3 days ago to today, my stomach is still bloating.

2 days ago, I have started eating alfredo & brocolli sprout 2 times a day and have yogurt once a day. I also have anti-acid medication once a day. So far, I am not seeing results. My stomach still bloats.

I know most of you are not doctors so I am not expecting professional advice. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this before or know someone who has can anyone give me some advice, opinions or feedback about my case on what I should do to get this fix?

Thanks in advance.

My stomach is still slightly bloated (not as extreme as before). My doctor told me not to worry about it and come back 5 weeks later for carbon breathe test. He thinks it is a side effect from the triple anti-biotic treatment. The treatment was about 2 weeks ago now but I still feel my stomach slightly bloated. I always had a healthy diet, ate plenty of vege so I can't understand why. Any other comments?

I've heard H. pylori can be hard to get rid of, so you should definitely be re-tested.
