I was missed diagnosed for many years the doctors thought i had just regularRegular insulin stomach issues. About 2 months ago it really started acting up and i couldnt do anything at all, just lay in bed aching and couldnt eat. I lost 40 pounds. I went to see a regularRegular insulin doctor instead of a pediatrician and got my stomach scoped out. The doctor thought i had gull bladder issues. I went and got 2 tests done, the sonogram, and a cat scan test and in the middle they push a drug into you to see how you react. I had severe chest pain, a dry heaved for 10 minutes, and had severe stomach aches. That was the ultimate sign after that. I went to a surgeon and got the results. My gull bladder was functioning at 20%. The very next day i went in and got my gull bladder removed. Its been about a month and a week since ive had it. I still have issues with stomach aches, nauseation every morning, and most mornings i tend to throw up, after eating i dont feel good at all and most of the time have to use the bathroom. My stomach also growls alot. My diet has completely changed, i dont eat fattyXanthoma foods and i still have problems. I have lost alot of weight because of this and im not the same person. What can i try to see if i can prevent any more issues? Ive had enough of this stuff, im only 17 and your not supposed to go through this at that age.
At well over a month post-op, you should be feeling like your old self again, and obviously you are not. This sort of thing isn't going to get better no matter how much you watch what you eat and do everything right. You've DONE everything right! :-) So, now you need to go back to that GI doc and get him to finish the job.
