Alcohol question

by Myheadhurts123, Apr 28, 2009 10:11PM
I was recently diagnosed with Gastritis and was wondering if I can ever consume alcohol after my treatment is done, or should I just stay away from it forever? I was prescribed a perscrption for 1 month. Thanks!

I am curious ....did the doctor tell you not to drink any alcohol?  I am really wondering.  That is the label I have been given for my pain/problems.  I have a couple of beers here and there, could this be making it worse really?  (I probably sound very ignorant, but I just haven't thought one or two would really make that big of a difference).  Maybe I should stay away from it and see what happens??

He never said not to but on the internet it says that alcohol can be the cause to it. It is worth a shot =).
