Allergy to wine?

Allergy to wine?

I have been having some issues with diarrhea for the last few months. At first I thought that I had food poisoning. I have continued to have a problem with the diarrhea off and on, it does not occur on a daily basis. I have tried to examine what activities and what foods I have ingested prior to the diarrhea episode. I first noticed that after I would take my magnesium supplement that I would have a spout of diarrhea. I quit taking the magnesium and it improved. Then I started drinking red wine, I use to drink white wine and started having diarrhea the next day after drinking the red wine. The diarrhea never occurred when I drank white wine. Not only do I have diarrhea, but I have waves of nausea, I have yet to vomit just the desire to do so. Do you think that I might be allergic to sulfides in the wine? If so is there anything that I can take to stop the allergy?

You really need to see a Gastroenterologist for an evaluation as to what exactly is going on, and go from there.
