Any success with Hep C genotype 7a

by Tamura, Oct 20, 2002 12:00AM
I was diagnosed with Hep C genotype 7a in June, 2002. I've heard of horrible side effects from Pegintron treatment, so I haven't been able to decide yet. I've also learned that FDA just approved Pegasys on Oct. 16, 2002. I wonder if anyone has had any success with genotype 7a at all. At this time my ALT is normal. I'm also not sure how much the viral load could fluctuate if someone can shed some light on this issue. How long can I delay the treatment before it's too late? Thanks in advance for any information you could provide.
