With the onset Did you have heartburn after all meals and How did your stomach feel when empty?
Is Aciphex the only drug they tried you on?
I am trying different drugs to help with the GERD, Heartburn, weight loss as well.
What did they say was your diagnosis?
I wake up early am with gnawing stomach pain and have a strict diet.
thanks
Heartburn has not been a big problem. It's the cough that disrupts my life. The diagnosis is reflux due to nerve and muscle damage from an acute viral syndrome. I do have the early morning stomach pain, sometimes nausea. On 80 mg of Aciphex, that is much better. My doctor has suggested fundoplication surgery as a possible solution, but has not made a final decision. I keep hoping the effects of the virus will eventually wear off on their own. That's why I would like to find someone who had the viral problem and has gotten over it.

I have had every test under the sun done to me and everything comes up NEG. except for the Ultrasound it shows "Gall Bladder Sludge" which they don't know what to do.
