I'd like to have this operation. I'm morbidly obese with complications (arthritis, etc.) but have lousy insurance (not that they pay anyway. I've heard ranges of $4,500 to $50,000 for the surgery. One I could afford, the other I couldn't. Does anyone know how much it really costs? I'm in the Tampa Bay area of Florida if that matters.
