Aortic Aneurysm? PLease read

by leealee, Mar 26, 2007 12:00AM
Hello, I'm a 21 year old male non-smoker with good blood pressure. I have fullness in the abdomen area and every once in a while I can feel my pulse in my stomach, which I know can be normal. I recently had a CT scan of my abdomen. I was wondering if this ct scan would show an aortic aneurysm? My CT scan came back negative, but I was wondering if this test would show some trace of an aortic aneurysm? I've also had an echo of the chest which I've heard can show too? Please respond

A CT scan would defintely 100% show the aneurysm. Even a medical student could pick it up on a CT. you are fine.
