Appendectomy problems.

I was sent to the ER two weeks ago for a ruptured appendix.And had an appendectomy.For about a week now ,i have terrible fever.And  muscle cramps and lower back pain.What could be the cause of this.?And how can it be treated?

Thank you.I did indeed ,go back and i picked up a serious urinary tract infection.Which explains the fever and lower back pain.Been given a course anti biotics,and i feel alot better already:)
