Antacids alone don't help, if you have H. pylori infection. So, maybe you need a breath test (again?) to confirm/exclude H.pylori, since nexium has NO effect on bacteria. Bacteria can be killed only by antibiotics.
Celexa may also cause stomach upset, you might want to consider about stopping it (?)

im actually on nexium and celexia right now. The doctor said the antidepressant would help with the pain but so far it hasnt done much. I was actually worried about an ulcer being part of the problem once i saw the blood. My last doctor didnt seem to do much so im switching to another doctor and im hoping he'll be of more help. With all the test ive had they must have missed something because its deffinately not normal to be sick like this. I just want to be able to eat again without feeling pain. i cant even eat a full meal anymore. Well thank you so much for your help
Ulcer (which results in bleeding) may develop fairly fast, so it's possible it just wasn't there on previous endoscopy. Anway, you have to solve this.
I think this could be appropriate (in this order):
1. BREATH (not blood) test for H. pylori (which is the most often cause of gastritis/ulcers), if positive, treatment with a combination of antibiotics for 2 weeks, and then another breath test to see success.
2. Along with antibiotics, strong anti-acid drugs, like Prevacid or Nexium - by doctor's decision.
This should stop bleeding, if the cause was gastritis (ulcer).
If all this won't help, well then you'll need another endoscsopy.
Even, if you'l get better and bleeding will stop, you need to have above tests (maybe you won't need endo, but ask the doc. about 1. and 2.
well i had an upper GI and thats when they found the gastritis and that was over a year ago. Then i had 2 upper endoscopys and on the second endoscopy which wasn't to long ago they said everything looked good. I continued having pain though. Last sunday i had another "bad episode" where i continued throwing up non-stop for 2 hours. There was blood and it was accompanied by a horrible head ache. I went to the ER because i wanted so baddly to stop getting sick. They gave me medicine to make me fall asleep, took blood test and sent me home. They said if my stomach doctors couldnt figure out the problem they couldnt either but they could try to make me feel betterr. Then the same night i woke up at like 2 in the morning again sick to my stoamch
Antibiotics for H. pylori may cause worse nausea than bacteria itself. You just need to complete the treatment regime to the last day, and than habve another test for H. pylori.
Advice: avoid any animal food (proteins), which stays for several hours in the stomach, also avoid anything acidic, vinegar, aspirins, alcohol...to prevent gastric irritation.
Yea i do have gastritis, h. pylori but they said the symptoms dont add up and even after all the meds they have me on im stil sick.
Your symptoms are typical for H. pylori infection of stomach, and you maybe even developed an stomach or duodenal ulcer from it. Upper abdominal bloating, burping, burning sensation in upper middle stomach, hearburn...are typical symptoms.
You need a breath test for H. pylori, if positive, you get antibiotics for 2 weeks, and this is it.
SOD pains are usually on the right just under the rib cage.
