Is it possible to have a false/positive ASCA test for Crohn's?

I am hesitant to have scopes done because I had a colonoscopy three years ago (which took me years to have others convince me to have), and I am scared of biopsies and the upper endoscopy procedure.

Also, what is a small bowel function test?

By the way, my celiac test was negative, so what test is really conclusive for Crohn's?

I would like to know what the ASCA lab values are if anyone knows.

It is possible to have a false positive, the percentage is low, but still possible. Google 'asca test' and look at the 1st four results that pop up.

About ASCA, a doctor just answered it in "Ask an expert" part of the forum. Diagnosis of Crohn's is made by combination of findings, one of this is biopsy taken from terminal part of small intestine and from colon - so this is done by colonoscopy and not by upper endoscopy.
