I'm not finding much info...basically all I know is possible sub-type of autoimmune hepatitis, it's rare, and states unknown cause. I have no symtoms (symptoms), only inconsistant ALK/AST/ALT bloodwork levels for four years, which led to a liver biopsy. I'm female
". Now what? Of course I have an appointment, but would like other opinions/resources. "Curable" or not? Prednisone and Imuran the only treatment? More testing? Any adivse would be greatly appreciated!
I have it, too. It is so rare that it is hard .to find anyone else who has it. My hepatologist has had like 8 patients like me in 20 years. It has afftected my liver enzymes. They go up and down. I take ursodiol, 900 mg per day. It helps but is more homeopathic.than helps, it is a prescription drug. Please don't give up on your wuest for info. There's not a lot of it out there but it is nice to know that I'm not the only one
