I have recentlt tested highly positive for autoimmune hep, positive ana, have fluctating liver enziemes (returning to normal), severe anemia, low B12, WBC
, extreme fatigue, intermittant upper abdominal pain, nausea and have lost 13 lbs in 3 weeks. I had a liver biopsy (that the lab sent to Johns Hopkins for consult) and it can back as isolated
cell gradulation, cronic (chronic) liver inflamation (inflammation). The specialist my Dr sent me to said that is was inconclusive, give my age (53) and the fact that I had thyroid disease, there was no indication of any liver disease and I required no further followup. I feel sick, I have dark circles and some days I can hardly function. Do you think I should get another opinion or is he right, is it just age and I need to join a gym and try to build myself up. I am also 5 years post gastric
to complete advanced degree, gardening (3 large gardens in my yard) normal house stuff on weekend, taking care of kids (grown but we hang out). Now, I still try, but it takes all weekend to mow 3/4 of an acre with a rising mower.
