SATURDAY I WOKE UP FEELING NAUSEA AND I HAD DIAHERRA AND I HAD IT ALL DAY I COULDN'T EAT.WELL TODAY IS TUESDAY AND I STILL FEEL THE SAME WAY BUT EVER SINCE YESTERDAY MY STOOLS HAVE BEEN BLACKBlack cohosh Black draught Black haw AND LOOSE. I HAVE PAINS IN MY STOMACH THAT SHOOT RIGHT THROUGH TO MY BACK I FEEL FATIGUE AND I DON'T FEEL MY QUESTION IS HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT BEFORE GOING TO A DOCTOR BECAUSE I HATE GOING TO FIND OUT ITS A STOMACH BUG THAT I COULD'VE JUST WAITED TO GET BETTER
If your stools are blackish and tarry (medical name "melena" - look it up in google/yahoo etc) then this can signify GI bleeding which you MUST have investigated.
Don't be reticent when you have your consultation with your doctor. If he/she says "it's probably nothing worse than a stomach bug" ask him/her "how can you be sure it is not caused by melena/intestinal bleeding ?".
