Bad pain in my lower right side

Hi I am really quite worried and if anyone can help me soon that would be great because I do not know what to do. It has been about 2 weeks now since it started happening. Everyday I have had a stomach ache all the time. The pain is in the lower left side under my ribs. The pain is a cramping pain and sometimes there are sharp pains. 3 days ago my stomach visibly looked strange. In the beginning i thought maybe I had gained weight but my stomach bloated outdated almost like a bung, it has now gone down a bit. My feels a bit stiff. I don't know what it could be because I eat a relatively healthy diet and go to the loo almost everyday.. Please if anyone can me it would be great thank you.

Thank you for your advise, but with all the suggestions you have given on what it might be. Do you think it is dangerous I mean if I don't see a doctor soon as it is quite inconvenient then could it turn critical??!! Thanks

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include GI infections/ inflammations such as gastritis, pancreatitis etc, respiratory tract infections/ inflammations, chest wall related causes etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist acre may be sought.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
