Bad smelling gas...etc

For a while now I've had bad smelling gas, and diarrhoea, or at least very soft stools. Not all the time, but fairly frequently. I've had blood in my stools for several months, but thought nothing of it. The most recent blood was about a week and a half ago, and it's never much - just spotting or a patch. I've been ill recently too, and been vomiting and had a stomach virus and I've been constantly tired. I don't know if all this is linked, but I don't want to visit the doctor and waste their time if it's just something minor :/ Could it be something serious? I'm a young women in my early twenties, and I do get a bit paranoid. I've looked up symptoms, and they range from stomach related problems to bowel cancer.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Blood in your stool is not normal and it needs to be checked out by a doctor.  This is most likely something not serious (especially because of your age) but it could be something that needs treatment but it would be best to see a doctor about this.  You don't need to worry about any sort of bowel cancer at your age.
