Barrets oesophogus

by Eggy, Dec 10, 2001 12:00AM
I am 33 and have been diagnosed with Barret's from 35 to 38 cm. None of my doctors actually seem to think this is a big bdeal , but the more I find out the more I worry.

How commonly does Barrets lead to cancer, and what should the doctors be doing to combat it and check to see if the cells are changing.

I am on losec 20  now for 15 months and still have acid reflux, a constant taste in my mouth, but the burning pain has gone.

Any advice or knowledged gratefully taken!
