Belly button oozes, ewe

My 20 year old son has oozing from his belly button. It is yellowish in color. I told him to try to dry it up by wiping the area with alcohol however it still oozes. Since this area is covered most of the time with clothing, not much air can get there for drying and my son is very large. Any other suggestions for him to try and dry this up?

He may have an infection that needs to be treated via medications such as antibiotics. Check with your doc.
