Bile Reflex

Recently my Father was diagnosed with stomach cancer,his cancer was at stage 4 so his whole stomach was removed.His galbladder was removed a few years back.Now he has problems in his esophogus, I checked with his surgeon, he is saying it's the bile from liver which reaches up there, Please let me know if there are any diet or any solutions that will ease this problem a little more.
