Symptoms:
-Belching (triggered by movement, not by food) - persistent for about 1 year
-Pain in upper right ribRib cage pain cage (triggered by eating, 25 minutes to onset, stop 90 minutes after that. Fat content of food doesn't make difference)
-Postural hypotensionHypotension Multiple system atrophy (blackBlack cohosh Black draught Black haw out most times when I stand up, have fainted several times)
-Brief stabbing pain - lasts just one second - have had in my fingers, legs, and side. It is enough to double me over. Like I'd been shot with a rifle. Usually just a couple times a week
-Cherry angiomas all over chest and back - about 50 of them
Tests:
-Upper Endoscopy (normal UES/ECJ, mild antral erythema and bile staining of stomach)
-Ultrasound (normal gallbladder, normal bile ducts, heterogeneous echotexture of liver - was not very good because GB was contracted)
-Tons of blood work for monitoring my AIH (normal liver enzymes, normal platelets, normal RBCs/WBCs)
Questions:
-Could the erythema/bile reflux in my stomach be causing my belching, even though I have zero stomach pain? My RUQ pain is no where close to my stomach and doesn't coincide with my belching
-Do you think my hypotension/belching/stabbing pain is associated with my liver condition?
-Thoughts on any other tests I should look into having done?
Bile reflux can cause some of the symptoms you're talking about. Normal GB but contracted? That's not exactly normal, nor is bile refluxing. You may want to discuss having a HIDA scan with CCK injection with your doc. The RUQ pain could be coming from the GB.
