Bit of a blunder during anaesthetic, want second opinion

Hi, I'm 18 years old and had a colonoscopy + endoscopy today. Whilst try to be put under the anethatist missed the vein and injected the solution directly into my bicep. Yep, right in there! They ended up using my other arm, which had no issues. After surgeory I was told it would ache (which it does) but my main problem, is having an anesthetic just sitting around my bicep. The doc seemed kinda concerned but said I would absorb it and flush it out of my system in a few hours!

It was propofil I believe. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
