Bitter Taste

by Marshall, May 29, 2002 12:00AM
I am 40 year old male.
I have had recent bouts with upset stomach after having been treated for kidney stones and taking antibioitics for 2 months.  Cipro, Floxin, Leavequin.

I began to have diarrhea and belching.  I had colonoscopy which was negative for bleeding.  I have been having some pain or discomfort that comes to my back (high around shoulder blades on either side).  I also have girgling sounds in my stomach (sounds like water or stomach growling).

I stopped taking the antibiotics May 5.  On May 23 I began to have a sore tongue and now I have a bitter taste at the end of my tongue.  Food taste ok but sometimes there is a bitter taste that comes there and it looks as if my tongue is swollen.

Can anyone help???
